Aerotek's client is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Frederick, MD.

The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of a wide variety of machines and trucks, including but not limited to heavy construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of various heavy equipment and trucks.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, articulating haul trucks, and other construction equipment.

• Ensure superior workmanship and attention to detail in all repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Collaborate with team members and take direction from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, and articulating haul trucks.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of relevant tools.

• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00
