We are looking for a Associate V to join our NAF team in Freeport, TX

The BASF Freeport Site is seeking a highly motivated administrative professional with demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills to support Site Services’ (EHS, Security & Emergency Services, Labs and Logistics) operations. The ideal candidate is results-driven, highly articulate, proactive, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to identify and solve problems to resolution.
During your shift as a Associate V, you will
• Conduct procurement activities and invoice processing (Work Cycle, PR’s, PO’s, etc.), ensuring high-value invoices are being paid on time at the correct amount, following BASF protocols, and maintaining necessary documentation.
• Plan and procure supplies for Site Services teams and maintain corresponding records.
• Retain appropriate records per document management guidelines.
• Provide administrative support to the Site Services operations, Site Services Director, and backup support for the Site General Manager.
• Schedule appointments/meetings, prepare agendas, initiate/prepare correspondence, make travel arrangements, process expense reports, and respond independently when possible, for Site Services Director.
• Maintain assigned databases, shared spreadsheets/documents, websites, SharePoint and Teams Pages, updating organization charts, team distribution lists, emergency manuals, etc., and overseeing shared folders as well as coordinating document retention activities.
• Assist with community events supporting the Freeport Site, which occasionally require after-hours and weekend commitments.
• Assist new employees with access rights, email, IT equipment, SAP, phone, PPE, etc.
If you...
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of secretarial or administrative experience, including progression to positions of increased responsibility and technical difficulty.
• Possess proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and email communication tools.
• Have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting Sr Leaders and a multi-business unit site are preferred.
