We are looking for a Logistics Clerk to join our NAF team in Freeport, TX.

The Logistic Clerk will lead daily execution team efforts to ensure adherence to customer requirements and schedule compliance with the Business Unit’s shipping schedules.

During your shift as a Logistics Clerk, you will

• Assign proper railcars to customer orders while utilizing FIFO, strapping / gauging the railcar to ensuring the proper amount is planned and preparing the necessary paperwork.

• Create barge paperwork for transfers.

• Maintain the Yard Plus system and enter switch requests and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.

• Accumulate and prepare all switch requests and switch lists to efficiently moving rail cars to requested spots.

• Coordinate and schedule railcars to keeping open and accurate communication between Logistics and the Supply Chain Planners.

• Ensure that bad ordered rail cars are properly marked and routed to the proper locations.

• Order and receive supplies.

• File and organize completed paperwork.

• Complete reports and maintain department scorecard.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

If you have...

• A High School Diploma/equivalent is preferred

• A minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.

• Working knowledge of Bourque Yard Plus preferred.

• Ability to train a diverse team.

• Ability to work an onsite schedule, Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), including holidays and weekends as needed.
