Title: Project Manager- Engineering

Location: Freeport, TX

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the optimization and improvement of the production plant, utilities and general site infrastructure by providing support for capital project management.

• Project Management

• Project lead for the complete project life cycle.

• Defining, executing and evaluating site capex projects.

• Lead the project definition by providing necessary documentations for funding requests.

• Coordinate with different stakeholders to prepare engineering packages for various project stages.

• Establish and adhere to project schedules and accurately manage project budgets (forecasting, spending, invoicing and project closing).

• Actively drive all tasks in projects to expedite executions.

• Schedule periodic project reviews with all stakeholders

• Execute the projects in compliance to company procedures and standards.

• Displays and promotes positive safety behaviors at all times; uses proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean.

• Mange the full MOC process for the project and engage in PHA, HAZOP and PSSR steps.

  Requirements:

• Bachelors in Technical Discipline or equivalent years of experience

• Five or more years of experience in project management in chemical, oil/gas, pharmaceutical or food ingredient manufacturing required.

• Knowledge of relevant engineering practices and PSM and OSHA requirements.
