Job Title: Tooling Machinist- Direct Placement up to $81,000/year BOE 1st Shift

Job Description

The Tooling Machinist responsibilities will consist of:

• Set up and maintain tooling for production equipment, ensuring proper operation.

• Fabricate tooling replacements and evaluate vinyl tooling for repair.

• Coordinate with outside vendors for tooling repairs and track repair turnaround time and costs.

• Study specifications (blueprints, sketches, models) to determine necessary materials and machinery.

• Compute dimensions, plan layouts, and determine assembly methods and operation sequences.

• Operate lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts and fabricate assemblies for production machinery.

• Recommend design changes for dies, tools, jigs, fixtures, and machinery components.

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, machine repair, diagnostics, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, and facilities upkeep.

• Carry out housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
