Description We are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Fresno, California, United States. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks and duties. Working with us, you will get the opportunity to hone your skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for informational, auditing and operational use • Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and account issues • Utilize various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status • Ensure all financial data is entered accurately and in a timely manner • Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline accounting processes and procedures • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, etc. • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, reports and statement Requirements • Proven experience in the role of an Accounting Clerk or similar

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle and SAP

• Demonstrated skill in performing Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing

• Strong data entry skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks concurrently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong numerical skills and an understanding of financial processes

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field is a plus.
