Description We are inviting applications for the role of General Manager for our manufacturing operations located in Fresno, California, United States. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing two key business units, ensuring their efficient operation and growth. The role involves strategizing for improved operational effectiveness, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation, and collaborating with department heads to set goals and drive performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of two major business units to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives, financial targets, and production schedules.

• Develop and execute long-term strategies aimed at increasing operational efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness in the market.

• Lead a team of department heads and supervisors, providing mentorship to optimize performance, and managing talent recruitment, training, and development.

• Collaborate with the finance team to formulate and manage budgets for both units, monitoring financial performance, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

• Initiate and implement process improvements in areas of production, quality control, and supply chain management, applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and minimize waste.

• Maintain high-quality standards, meet delivery schedules, and nurture strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure all operations comply with OSHA standards to foster a safe working environment.

• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial status, and key business metrics to the CEO and other stakeholders. Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry.

• Proven expertise in budget processes including planning, allocation, and monitoring.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

• Proven track record of managing, leading, and motivating a team to achieve operational goals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make sound decisions based on data.

• Proficient in using manufacturing software and other relevant technologies.

• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make decisions quickly.

• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive company growth and profitability.
