Comerica Risk Oversight Program Manager in Frisco, Texas

Risk Oversight Program Manager The Risk Oversight Program Manager is responsible for assisting with the strategic development, execution, and overall management of the Comerica's Operational Risk Oversight Programs in alignment with corporate objectives, the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This position will be an extension of the Senior Operational Risk Director and will involve working with leaders and / or teams to ensure strategies and solutions are crafted and executed effectively, communications are clear, and issues are addressed immediately. This includes oversight and management of Program implementation plans to ensure milestones are identified, socialized, prioritized, and completed on time and within budget. Position Responsibilities: Program Oversight and Management * Ensure business partner adherence to the oversight Program in compliance with Policy and regulatory requirements. * Define, review, and articulate regular reporting on Program performance to business partners, including insights and recommendations to improve Program effectiveness. * Provide guidance and support to impacted stakeholders on Program compliance and identify potential risk mitigation strategies. * Facilitate communication and coordination within the Second Line of Defense risk / program owners, line of business accessors, and the reporting team. * Continuously monitor the Program landscape and update requirements as necessary. Program Development and Strategy * Partner with business leaders to support Operational Risk Framework changes that require development of a new program or structure to meet the needs of the Risk Division on an ad-hoc basis. * Define and implement the Program framework to assess, monitor, and report on program performance. * Develop, socialize to business partners, and codify Program requirements (e.g., roles and responsibilities) within the Policy and subordinate standard(s) and procedure(s). Identify and implement reporting capabilities and structure to support transparency, awareness, and risk decision-making capabilities. * Assess staffing support model requirements and implement for all lines-of-defense impacted by the Program. * Develop and execute supporting communication plan to ensure stakeholder awareness of progress against required actions and associated timelines. * Develop training / guidance materials for all impacted colleagues across the organization. Other Duties as Assigned * Additional, ancillary projects aligned to the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) may be assigned as needed.
