Description

We are offering a long-term remote contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Fund Accountant in the Investment Management industry, based in Ft. Worth, Texas. This role will involve working on accounting functions for private equity and alternative assets. Must have experience with Investran software. 100% REMOTE.

Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE Investran software experience

• Managing private equity and hedge fund accounting tasks

• Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient processing

• Conducting waterfall calculations and partnership allocations

• Operating Bloomberg Terminal for financial data analysis

• Overseeing auditing processes to ensure financial accuracy

• Managing budget processes for efficient capital management

• Monitoring and managing cash activity for the funds

• Preparing and reviewing accurate journal entries

• Ensuring compliance with fund accounting standards

• Leveraging Investran for fund management tasks

Requirements

Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

Understanding of Waterfall in financial contexts

Experience in preparing Journal Entries

Expertise in Fund Accounting

Investran experience

Bachelor degree in Accounting
