*Act as lead person on projects, installations or other assignments *Follow all safety guidelines, policies and procedures as required for this job *Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment to help meet production goals *Troubleshoot and maintain three (3) phase electrical systems, plus PLC system daily *Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance *Set up and perform calibrations on equipment daily *Troubleshoot low voltage systems daily *Assemble and test experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids and other electrical equipment and components *Modify electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations *Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion and direct personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties *Plan, direct and record periodic electrical testing and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards *Other duties may be assigned
