Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and controlling CNC programs, designing fixtures and work-holding devices, and optimizing machining processes. This role involves working closely with operators and engineers to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and control CNC programs following standardized practices.
Design fixtures and work-holding devices.
Establish tool lists for each work center.
Stay updated on new machining methods, fixtures, and tools.
Assist in the selection and implementation of new equipment.
Develop manufacturing routings, cycle times, and costs.
Diagnose, debug, and program new and existing work centers.
Optimize CNC programs to maximize throughput and ensure the highest possible quality.
Create new CNC programs using CAM software, verify through simulation, and work closely with operators during prove-out and debug processes.
Review and revise CNC programs as necessary to enhance performance.
Oversee the control of network-based CNC program files.
Review suggested CNC file revisions with operators and engineering, and update through a structured change control process.
Create set-up instructions and tool kits for job set-ups.
Work with purchasing to standardize perishable tooling and work-holding devices.
Continually evaluate new tooling and methods to drive efficiency and quality improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in CNC programming, machining, and working with G-code.
Proficiency in CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, CNC machining, and tooling.
Strong knowledge of CAM software and SolidWorks.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
