Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to oversee electrical technicians working on the renovation and new construction of the UF Architecture Building in Gainesville, Florida. The role involves ensuring that contractors work efficiently and effectively, setting up the team for success each morning, and managing the gutting and reconstruction of existing floors. Responsibilities
Oversee electrical technicians on the jobsite
Ensure contractors work in a timely and efficient manner
Assist with setting up the team each morning for success
Manage the gutting and reconstruction of existing floors
Ensure work is performed according to blueprints and project specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with blueprints
Perform tasks such as bending and running conduit, pulling wire, and using hand tools and cordless drills

Work Environment
Work will be performed indoors and outdoors on the UF Architecture Building on a fully operating campus. Contractors must be presentable and professional at all times. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots are required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
