Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Galveston, Texas, for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant. This role is in the HR industry and will involve providing clerical support to the HR department, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various HR processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• Assist in conducting orientation to welcome and integrate new employees into the team.

• Use HRMS and other software like ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and About Time to maintain and update employee records.

• Contribute to the smooth operation of HR processes by ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Perform auditing and background checks as part of human resource procedures.

• Support benefit functions to ensure employees receive their entitled benefits.

• Carry out other duties as assigned to support the overall function of the HR department. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is essential.

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is expected.

• Previous experience with Ceridian is desirable.

• Proficiency in using HRMS is a must.

• Ability to use About Time software effectively.

• Previous experience in Auditing is required.

• Background in conducting Background Checks is necessary.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions is expected.
