Location/Division

Suseo, Seoul / Bioscience Division (BID)

Provides strong strategic and operational leadership to team of Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) to ensure that BID growth targets are met across all markets and Cell biology product lines. (Gibco, Invitrogen, PeproTech et.al) Ensures that teams operate within regional goal trees in areas of booking/revenue growth, sales process optimization, BU collaboration, funnel development and employee development. Accept and live 4I values. Leads TSS ensuring alliance across all business areas within region and wider areas. Works closely and drives business growth with all BID Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, Regional TSS Lead to ensure efficient account and business development.

What will you do?

Commercial Leadership:

  • Direct management of Technical Sales Specialists in BID.

  • Achieve the AOT for the assigned product portfolio through driving efficient management and communication strategy.

  • Active collaboration with division/division leadership team to develop strategies and action plans and tactics to increase our market penetration.

  • Connect with BID’s leadership teams in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

Selling Agility & Market Insight:

  • Assess and identify growth opportunities by market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs analysis.

  • Manage market performance for portfolio in conjunction with APJ TSS leader and BID sales team- gap-to-close analysis and corrective actions as the need arises.

  • Perform detailed analysis and reporting (i.e. Region revenue, unit/solution actual sales to forecast, campaign implementation status and results, critical metrics) so that appropriate actions can be planned.

Technical Expertise:

  • Assesses the team's understanding of the competitive landscape and brings in vital resource to close competitive intelligence needs.

  • Coaches team to understand the product portfolio and how this relates to key application areas.

  • Consistent tracking and analysis of innovative technologies using relevant our product line portfolio.

How will you get there?

[Education]

Master’s degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field or the equivalent knowledge and industry/functional experience.

[Experience]

  • More than 7 years of work experience as a commercial role such as marketing/technical sales

  • Confirmed understanding and experience to implement various cell transfection and Cell culture work (overall cell culture and SERA, media formulation, transfection, cytokines)

  • Successful track record of achieving results through and in collaboration with others.

  • Extensive people leadership track record, to include leading within a matrixed environment with the ability to encourage, influence and lead others.

  • Validated capability to develop technical sales strategy and translate strategy into a tactical plan that achieves and drives top line growth with experience in leading large-revenue businesses with a potential for huge growth.

  • Proven track record to lead multiple collaborators in a sophisticated matrix environment becoming comfortable with ambiguity and conflicting goals.

  • Proficient in English (verbal/written)

  • Proficient at Excel and good presentation skill (written and verbal)
