Parksite Pricing Specialist in Garner, North Carolina
Pricing Specialist is responsible for maintaining pricing, rebate & cost records within the enterprise-wide ERP system. Specialists collaborate with pricing, purchasing & key sales personnel, to update & input vendor increases & Pricing changes. Standardized strategic pricing processes allow sales to focus on selling and the pricing team to maximize company profitability goals.
Responsibilities:
Maintain system pricing & discounting records
Maintain supplier rebate records
Maintain product costs per location
Maintain customer price pages in Excel via formulas
Execute vendor price increases
Communicate progress/completion to relevant parties
Troubleshoot ERP system pricing
Update ERP system pricing as necessary
Become a resource that provides solutions for product & sales management.
Educate on system capabilities & standardized pricing strategy.
Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts including sales, purchasing & product management.
Review metrics & key performance indicators
Keep all pricing records up to date by following established processes
Provide excellent sales support and maintain accurate product cost & pricing within ERP system.
Provide on-going expertise and education through regular calls, meetings and active participation in key company training.
Complete directives based on management instructions and achieved measurable goals.
Support the sales teams by delivering reliable, accurate system pricing for sales orders & quotes.
Work closely with sales management
Create reports reflecting metrics, objectives and barriers/gaps
Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments
Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing
Qualifications for Pricing:
Requirements:
Strong computer literacy & MS Office skills
Highly proficient in Excel
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage feedback and expectations effectively.
Superior organizational and follow-up skills.
Superior attention to detail.
Keen eye for identifying opportunity
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or further education preferred
Experience: 3 + Years of experience in industry, pricing and/or procurement
Systems: Microsoft Suites and Excel focused

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
