Summary: R&P is seeking an Onsite Logistics Representative to support the installation, integration and activation of the US Navy's premier shipboard employed hypersonic missile system aboard the fleet's most advanced surface combatants. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients.

Duties & Responsibilities: Track status of material required to support availability, modernization and repairs with local site manager. Frequent interface with build yard, planning yard, outside contractors and NAVSEA Warfare Centers. Coordinate and Conduct material receipt inspections for Alteration Installation Teams, Naval Surface Warfare Centers, and Shipbuilders. Arrange for release of material from warehouse to ship in coordination with build yard. Ensure classified equipment and software is properly received, stored and transported. Uses available resources such as Haystack, Deck plate, and OneTouch to research parts data pertaining to Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and Combat Systems (CS) material and equipment. Track Government Furnished Material (GFM)/ Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) shipments and material payback plans. Plan and develop methods and procedures for implementing Logistics Services tasks, direct and coordinates activities. Generate reports, schedules, recommendations, plans, performance metrics, and briefs as necessary to assist in the management of ship class logistics program. Monitor and report on Class Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RM&A) predictions. Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA). Evaluate logistics policies, procedures, and plans to identify methods in which to improve the availability of required logistical support. Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports to determine applicable logistics requirements. Research and provide material pricing in support of independent government estimates. Coordinate and facilitate logistics meetings including Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Advisory Groups, Change Boards, Program Logistics Reviews, and Working Groups. Keep a clean and safe working environment. Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience or High School diploma with minimum 7 years of relevant work experience. A higher degree can be substituted for years of experience. Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office products and tools. Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one. Demonstrated knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in logistical support. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and alongside others in a team setting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with accommodations. Experience working with or for US Navy / NAVSUP or NAVSEA SUPSHIP preferred. Experience in logistical support of shipboard systems preferred
