We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Facilities Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and properties are well-maintained and safe for all occupants. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and HR to align facility management strategies with organizational goals and employee needs. This role also involves implementing sustainability initiatives, integrating advanced technologies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing space utilization, and enhancing employee well-being through various programs and maintenance strategies.
Role Definition
Provides maintenance, installation, and consulting support for building and infrastructure requirements of the Geneva site.
Responsibilities
Overseeing building services and the installation and maintenance of production equipment and building systems.
Communicating with suppliers' technical support to address equipment or infrastructure disruptions.
Performing routine-to-complex engineering work potentially on multiple or large facilities.
Manages planning, execution and control of small to medium scope facilities projects.
Provides products and services to clients’ requirements.

Changes in the seating plan / allocation, conjointly with HR

Facilities Management: Knowledge of safety measures for physical facilities; ability to maintain, care for and develop commercial and physical facilities.
Ability to maintain and direct 3rd Party providers to a high level of excellence in the following tasks:
Reception / Visitor Administration
Security Personnel and System (Lenel S2)
Campus / Building Maintenance and Controls
Janitorial / Grounds services
Office & Mail Services
Audio-Visual / IT Support
Fitness Center
Coordination of All Employee Meetings
Cafeteria Services Management - Offerings / Catering / Quality / Coffee
Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
- Contracts / Purchase Orders / Invoices / 3rd party providers Warranty management / Utilities / etc.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Emergency Management: Knowledge of emergency management tools and techniques in a manufacturing organization; ability to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from an emergency.
SAFETY Contractors/ Risk rating
Partner with EAME Facilities Security SME (subject matter expert)
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and execute multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Participate in the Future Genilac Implementation with SIG
Assist in all aspects of the current building renovation project
Business Reviews – Annual Business / Capital Funding Alignment
Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure cost-effectiveness
Environment, Health and Safety Champion
- Office Environmental Projects / Metrics (Recycling / Energy – PV Cells, Sage Glass, New HVAC – Pre Genilac)
Strong Communications and collaboration Skills – Alignment with HR (Human resources and Business Units Key stakeholder)
- Administer Enterprise Policies, Procedures, and Compliance
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong project management experience including communication and change management
Effective ability to understand business needs and mange stakeholders
Strong, proven interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and credibility
Proven experience of working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues.
Exceptional ability to ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in English & French
Communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to partner and build relationships
