On farms, in aviaries (large enclosures for confining chickens), assemble and install aviary components, including feed management, manure management, and egg collection components, all of which are light-weight in nature such that they can be handled by hand. These components are installed by hand with basic hand tools such as drills, hammers, and pliers. Install bird floor meshes, feed troughs, attach chicken waterer with catch cups, perches, cage doors, bird ramps, and other associated components for the bird environment. Installation requires lifting, carrying, bending, and stooping. Position fans and inlets by lifting them into corresponding openings and fastening them in place. No mechanical, industrial or electrical work involved. This is installation and assembly of aviary components on a farm in a simple, uncomplicated form. See ETA 790 Addendum or additional details. Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs/75yds. This job requires a minimum of 1 month of agricultural experience handling both manual and mechanized tasks.
