Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working in a mail production facility

• Experience operating a mechanical inserter or troubleshooting machine issues

• Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time

• High School Diploma

• Software Skills Required: Windows/Microsoft Office Knowledge Helpful

Job Overview: Operate and maintain an inserter to produce mail pieces and prepare mailing for the Post Office. Inspect pieces during production and make adjustments to keep machines running.

• Printing large PDF’s and inserting the output into envelopes using mail production equipment, focusing on quality that is line with HIPAA standards.

• Ensure that output is produced and mailed within the appropriate timeframe/SLA.

• Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology.

• Operate folding machines cutter and bindery equipment.

• Operate machines that insert printed matter such as letters or booklets into envelopes.

• Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule.

• Maintain optimal level of productivity.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.
