Journeyman Millwrights

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Journeyman Millwrights for industrial projects in the Baltimore area. The pay range is $22-$28 per hour based on experience. All Journeyman Millwrights are scheduled f our 10 hour shifts a week with opportunity for overtime. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

• Install, Maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools

• Build foundation for machines

• Transfer equipment to sites to avoid hazards

• Construct and install shafting, conveyors, and tram rails

• (Mechanic) Aptitude with mechanical machinery for assembly and disassembly

• (Millwright) Ability to set equipment such as, pumps, motors, generators, conveyors, compressors & process equipment. (Fundamentals such as layout for anchor bolts, level (including shim as required), and align motors to couplings)

• Ability to interpret plan view drawings for layout of equipment.

• Understanding of mechanical and structural components and how they work together.

• (Iron Worker) Proficient in the erection of multi-level structures consisting of beam and column bolted and/or welded construction.

• Understanding of erection drawings and the assembly of shop fabricated components

• Ability to work at heights, using proper PPE

• Proficient in safe practices for rigging steel, equipment, and other items, using a variety of slings, come-alongs, chain falls, spreader bars, and other lifting accessories.

Ultimate Millwright requirements

• 2-5 years of Millwright experience

• Flexibility to travel between projects on a daily and/or weekly basis.

• Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments.

• Willing to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon – Thu on a 4-10’s schedule), with the flexibility to work overtime as required. Some night shift may be required, which is dependent on client needs.

• Availability to work Night and Day, 12 Hour Shifts when client requests.

• Flexibility to work outside of your trade.

• Flexibility to travel between DC, Baltimore and Aberdeen, MD

• Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

• Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

• Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance

• Drug Test Required
