Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bilingual Spanish Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, proficiency in QuickBooks, and fluency in both English and Spanish. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain financial transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.

• Prepare and process payroll, including filing payroll taxes and reporting.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Generate and analyze financial reports for management.

• Maintain and organize financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients or vendors to resolve financial inquiries or discrepancies.

• Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and special projects as needed.

  Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop or Online.

• Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

• Experience in a similar role, especially within a small business or professional services environment, is a plus.
