Insight Global Project Manager in Glendale, California
Job Description
With this role on the Program Management team, youll be joining a group of seasoned, dedicated technologists supporting world class productions, developing the next generation of studio technology, as well as solving a range of interesting problems in innovative ways in an exciting and dynamic environment.
Were looking for a project manager to oversee the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a variety of security projects and initiatives.
Lead content security initiatives from end-to-end, including project intake, gathering requirements and defining scope, schedule and resourcing for the technology team (e.g., application developers, data scientists, engineers), and coordinating needs across multiple teams.
Lead multiple teams across the organization to align business needs and product execution with project management processes and metrics.
Lead agile-oriented ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint closing, and retrospectives.
Manage the project execution and data in Smartsheet.
Influence and assist with prioritization of the portfolio prioritization and development of objectives and key results (OKRs).
Manage tasks and resources through waterfall, scrum, or kanban methodologies.
Ensure clear reporting of project status from project management team including timelines, milestone tracking, risk and issue identification to the Content Security management team, program management, and stakeholders.
Prioritize and escalate critical operational tasks, execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Work with program management to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates.
Leverage client's business intelligence application (e.g., PowerBI) for executive reporting; utilize KPIs to assess program, project, sprint planning, and resource velocity health; and lead corrective actions as required.
Apply analytics and critical thinking to identify team inefficiencies and risk areas and implement projects or processes to streamline and improve velocity and operations.
Conduct Portfolio Reviews that provide executive leadership with progress and risk assessments against pillar objectives and key results, portfolio and project health, and resource utilization.
Coordinate quarterly planning for the Content Security organization that establishes quarterly priorities, objectives and key results (OKRs), capacity plans, and key performance metrics that will be used to measure progress and risk throughout the quarter.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Skills and Requirements
5 to 7 years of experience in technical project management, utilizing waterfall and agile methodology.
3 to 5 years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of projects reflecting a wide range of technologies, complexities, and duration.
Strong experience with both waterfall and agile project management tools such as Smartsheets and JIRA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in managing technical operations teams (i.e., software developers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, data engineers, UI/UX designers, networking engineers).
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and organizing work effectively.
Excellent meeting facilitation skills and effective team player.
Strong ability to develop and present visual concepts using LucidChart and PowerPoint.
Strong ability to status programs and projects to executives using PowerPoint.
Strong written and oral communications skills. Previous experience working in software development or product management for Media & Entertainment environment.
Previous experience with security teams.
PMP certification a plus.
Certified Scrum master a plus. null
