Concept Lead

The Job:

As a Concept lead, you will collaborate with product marketing and engineering to guide early ideas through our innovation process. You'll assess these ideas at our innovation gates, questioning their feasibility from both business and technical perspectives.

The role involves driving innovation projects from an R&D standpoint, conducting user and business research, transforming ideas into product concepts, evaluating solutions, and presenting overall results to management. You will work closely with system architects and product designers to define technical architecture, use cases, product specifications, and overall technical requirements for products and services.

As a concept lead, you will also participate in defining product roadmaps and lead discussions on the technology development needed to achieve these roadmaps.

Who are you:

To succeed as a concept lead, you must work independently, plan, drive, and follow up on tasks related to business and development gates. Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in communicating with users and customers on a technical level are essential.

You should be quick to form your own opinions and eager to modernize and rethink conventional methods. You are adept at summarizing and presenting your work both orally and visually to stakeholders worldwide.

We believe you hold a technical degree, likely a Master's, and have relevant work experience. You should be willing to prepare, plan, and organize user visits and studies, and be comfortable with travel. A business-technology mindset is crucial for understanding what should be advanced into development.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience from product development and innovation,

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Broad engineering skills, including electronics, software, and mechanical engineering.

• A master’s degree in product development, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, entrepreneurship, computer science, information technology or similar

• Experience with X-ray technology or the MedTech industry is a merit but not a requirement.

• Fluent in English; fluency in Swedish is a plus.
