Community Health Systems Certified Phlebotomist - Full Time Day Shift in Granbury, Texas
Phlebotomists draw and collect blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. The phlebotomist may conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank. The phlebotomist is expected to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and works under immediate supervision. The phlebotomist typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent .
Certification: certification by a nationally recognized body preferred
Experience: The candidate is expected to haveknowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and a minimum 6 months of experience.
