Lockheed Martin Systems Integration / Test Engineering Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description:

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire control in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Test Engineering Manager to join the Precision Fires Line of Business (LOB). In this pivotal role, you’ll have management responsibility for overseeing daily production activities for high-profile programs. Your leadership will be critical in driving the success of these programs, ensuring the right balance of skillsets, resources, and support to meet production goals.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Precision Fires LOB daily production, such as the GMLRS, ER-GMLRS, ATACMS, and PrSM programs. It will be your responsibility to ensure appropriate coverage, skill mix attendance, and support for: Production Program/IPT meetings, risk meetings, all proposal efforts including BOE generation/updates, Cost Account Management efforts/reporting, and Integrated Master Schedules creation/updates. You will be responsible for providing continual feedback to ITE production engineering staff, Performance Assessments for direct reports, and production staff performance feedback upon request. Travel requirement is up to 25%.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

• Proficiency with test equipment programming software such as LabVIEW, CVI, C++, ATEasy, etc.

• Experience with supporting production test equipment in a lead role

• Experience designing, integrating, verifying, and validating test equipment

• Experience managing project budgets and creating proposals

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency with National Instruments: ni TestStand and LabVIEW software

• 10+ years of Test Engineering experience

• Experience supporting non-conformance dispositions, Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Material Review Boards (MRB)

• Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience

• Experience developing and supporting DoD test equipment for electronic assemblies and systems

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
