Job Description

This is a Maintenance Technician position working Monday through Friday, with occasional work on weekends when necessary. The position involves maintaining and supporting product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity in the mixing/mill area, focusing on power transmission mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

• Respond to downtime situations to get machines back up and running.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all work cells and properly document the maintenance performed.

• Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs/issues.

• Perform process verification procedures and follow the process deviation procedure when changing parameters.

• Conduct repairs such as fabricating, replacing bearings, and repairing/replacing hydraulic and cooling pumps.

• Handle maintenance of mixers, mills, conveyors, belts, drives, and drive material transfers.

• Perform minor facility maintenance repairs.

• Work closely with team members on maintenance issues.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience performing maintenance and preventive maintenance.

• 3 years of experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

• 3 years of experience reading blueprints.

• Experience in facilities maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
