Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement architectural blueprints for OpenShift deployments.

  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and define comprehensive OpenShift solutions.

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of OpenShift environments.

  • Ensure efficient installation, upgrades, and expansion of OpenShift clusters.

  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters.

  • Develop and implement strategies for scaling and optimizing resource utilization.

  • Create and maintain automation scripts for streamlined operations.

  • Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines to enhance automation.

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to support projects.

  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with the latest OpenShift and Kubernetes trends.

  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance platform capabilities.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation for deployments and operations.

  • Provide training and mentoring on OpenShift best practices.

  • Work with clients to design solutions that meet their requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Red Hat OpenShift administration.

  • Red Hat certification is mandatory.

  • Experience with ITIL Service Management (incident, problem, and change management).

  • Proficiency in managing OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters (3.x and 4.x), Terraform.

  • Experience with containers and orchestrations (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Red Hat OpenShift, RHACM).

  • Strong knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

  • Experience with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and managing deployments and rollbacks.

  • Good knowledge of Linux and scripting.

  • Experience or exposure to Dynatrace and Azure Cloud

  • Experience with OpenShift performance tuning, capacity, and availability management.

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts in a 24x7 environment.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with migration and transition of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure.

  • Skills in setting up and managing Docker private repositories and creating custom Docker images.

  • Knowledge of OCP project onboarding, authentication, role bindings, and certificate installation.

  • Highly motivated, quality-conscious self-starter with excellent communication skills.
