Position Summary:

Thes Student Radiologic Technologist operates radiology equipment under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic x-ray images in various clinical settings. Responsibilities include performing radiologic procedures, assisting patients with positioning, maintaining a clean work area, and handling routine clerical tasks.

  • On call / Per diem

What the Student Radiologic Technologist will do:

  • Performs X-Ray procedures and operates machines in a safe and proper manner.

  • Performs all clerical and support functions associated with X-Ray process.

  • Assesses and monitors patient condition during procedures.

  • Accurately articulates exam results as directed by Radiologist, to Physicians, RNs and patients.

What the Student Radiologic Technologist will need:

  • Second year student in an approved American Registry Radiographic Technologist program.

  • Certification or re-certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.

  • First year of hospital clinicals complete.

  • Able to carry, pull, and push up to 35 lbs. unassisted and over 35lbs with assistance.
