Fancy working at a company with diverse culture and more than 100 years of history? We are seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Quality department at Granollers to manage the global quality activities with our current and future suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Vendor Quality Manager, you are responsible for implementing the Quality Strategy to monitor vendor performance and qualification process to enable accelerated learnings, perform process optimization and develop the supply chain to a high maturity level in accordance with the Coty supply chain strategy and QA policy while incorporating specific regulatory requirements. Drive vendors performance and technical process improvements, for example quality and yield improvement, process control, cycle time reduction, risk assessment and reduction.

Your main focus:

• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Supplier Quality activities.

• Monitor, review and drive supplier quality performance according to a set of indicators consistent with Quality Policy to enable effective and efficient review of the quality system by the Top Management.

• Create, document and implement all systems and processes necessary to meet deployed QA targets and objectives.

• Manage vendors’ audits and adhere to the audit plan by performing assigned audits according to latest regulatory requirements (FDA OTC, EU 1233/2009, ISO 22716 and ISO 9001).

• Provide and ensure that all employees receive the adequate training and development to cope with the job and changes.

• Promote supplier development operational excellence topics and optimize manufacturing processes with the sites.

• Promote and enable the sharing of best practices amongst all Coty’s local activities and work centres.

• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders (Procurement, Initiatives, Supply Chain and R&D) to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.

• Lead QA group and provide collaborative support to the broader TQM and VQM structure and beyond and actively participating in improvement projects at vendors.

• Embed risk assessment and management in all decisions and deliverables.

• Promote the digitalization of all inputs and outputs of the role.

• Support Global Quality KPI scorecard set up, review and maintenance

• Support documentation control activities

• Participate in international regulation tool and process implementation projects

The team consists of 3 sub-groups within Quality, you will belong to the global/central Quality team. You will work closely together with several departments such as Procurement and R&D. All your colleagues are collaborative, energetic and have high technical and Quality skills. Working in the team, you will be motivated to focus on continuous improvement and driving results.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As a/an experiencedVendor Quality Manager, you have on hands experience in Quality Management systems and tools, process mapping and problem solvingand you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Scientific background; Scientific, Chemical, Biochemical, Engineering or similar degree

• 5 years’ experience as Vendor/ Third Party Quality Manager or in similar role

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root-cause, recommend options, prioritize and implement appropriate solutions.

• Build relationships based on trust and respect. Promotes the inclusion of diverse knowledge, skills, and experiences to achieve results.

• Ability to anticipate change, face reality, draw conclusions, and swiftly mobilize to adapt to changing needs and demands.

• Proactively seeks ways to improve personal and organizational effectiveness. Learns equally from successes and failures.

• Good Excel/word knowledge to automatize processes.

• Experience in working in a highly regulated environment, knowledge of both EMEA, FDA and Chinese requirements required.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive projects / improvements.

• Master the English language on a near native level.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1. A telephone/online introductory meeting.

2. A first, initial online interview with hiring manager.

3. A second technical interview with a case study in Excel with the hiring manager.

4. Final interview with HR and other stakeholders.
