Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist specializing in Pelvic Health and orthopedics to join our multidisciplinary team in Grapevine. Cancer rehab experience or interest strongly preferred. Ideal candidates must be passionate about serving the pelvic health/orthopedic/oncology populations, growing and maintaining relationships with our referral sources, and helping build our program. We are unable to consider new grads for this position.
Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating both our oncologic and orthopedic population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment.
Clinic hours vary from 7A-7P Monday-Thursday and 7A-5P on Fridays.
As a Physical Therapist at one of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, you will work with a team of clinicians. Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Promoting continuous quality improvement
Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
CPR certified
Outpatient pelvic health/orthopedic experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cancer rehabilitation experience
