Community Outreach Specialist - - Marketing and Community Outreach Job Location - Caring Legacy - Greeley, CO Salary Range - $17.36 - $24.35 Hourly

The Marketing and Community Outreach team at North Range Behavioral Health plays a vital role in maintaining an active and positive organizational brand presence in the Weld County communities. By encouraging open dialogue about mental health and promoting the strength and breadth of the program to new and existing customers and agencies, we build trust with communities to help break the stigma of accessing care for behavioral health needs.

As the Community Outreach Specialist, you will join a team of compassionate members who help build and increase awareness about mental health and our support network. With a commitment to our core values of Customer First, Compassion, and Collaboration, you will work to improve learning and education around the topic of behavioral health, strengthen relationships between North Range and the communities it serves, and expand the awareness of the North Range Behavioral Health brand.

Duties Performed: Embrace the North Range Behavioral Health Mission Statement - Provide compassionate, comprehensive care for people who face mental health and addiction challenges. Assist with maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with community partners that help educate the public about the importance of behavioral health and enhance the reputation of the agency. Assist with identifying community needs and outreach opportunities by attending education, coalition, and/or advisory council events and outreach opportunities. Assist with planning, organizing, and delivering outreach activities, community education, and campaigns that increase the understanding of behavioral health issues and treatment support mental wellness, and incorporate evidence-based programs and prevention advocacy models when appropr Maintain effective working relationships with other community-based groups in Weld County and participate in cross-agency activities, as assigned. Assist in recruiting and marketing community and education activities through networking with other coaliti ns and agencies, advisory council/coalition members, and other participants. This position does involve frequent travel to offsite locations. Program activities may require weekend and evening hours.

Education/Credentials: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver's license and driving record that meets North Range Behavioral Health insurability requirements. Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) desired
