Master Data Manager
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Finance department at the JBS Corporate Office in Greeley, CO is seeking experienced candidates for a Master Data Manager position. The Master Data Manager will lead a team to accurately maintain material master data records as well as vendor & customer master data records within SAP. In this role, you will also facilitate the reporting, purchasing, production and management of JBS Foods’ materials and products globally.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Shared Services Master Data team, which includes the following:
Employee reviews, time management, and completion of annual department and individual goals.
Create and maintain packaging, ingredients, finished goods, raw materials, in progress materials, and trading goods in SAP for all Global Business Partners
Create and maintain product hierarchy, UPC, GTIN, and classification attributes in SAP
Create and maintain customer and vendor master data attributes in SAP
Create/run queries for report purposes
Monitor daily email request and resolve issues
Subject matter expert on master data fields, their use and proper governance of all data; following strict industry data, global data, and internal guidelines
Manage projects related to implementing new businesses into JBS as well as data cleansing and reconciliation across different systems
Prepare and/or update operating procedures and other documentation needed to support new business acquisitions and their specific master data requirements
Communicate data and project needs effectively and timely with business users, IT users, and project teams
Interface with business process owners to facilitate process improvement through enhanced or new application functionality
Act as BPO for access security approvals, approval of business-related changes, and control owner for SOX compliance standards and controls
Develop and maintain business rules for all variables on all utilized MM fields
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years of SAP experience with MM module preferred
Exceptional team building and leadership skills
High level skills required for data analysis and facilitation of new implementations
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels/areas
Conflict resolution
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Project experience with large scale ERP implementations
Clear, concise oral and written communication
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity
Experience with Lever X BMax Business Rule coding preferred
Experience with SOX compliance and controls preferred
Experience with Materials Management module of SAP preferred
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $63,000-$75,000and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
