TEKsystems Senior Network Administrator in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator. While senior -level candidates are preferred, we are also open to junior professionals with Cisco experience who are a great fit for our team and culture. This hybrid role is based in Green Bay and may start as a contract-to-hire position, with the potential for direct placement for the ideal candidate.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000, based on years of experience.

Job Description: The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and scaling network infrastructure across multiple sites. This role will serve as the technical expert for complex projects and requires detailed knowledge of dynamic, complex networks. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), SolarWinds, and/or Fortinet certifications preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing network equipment.

  • Experience with Cisco ISE is a plus.

Key Projects:

  • Merger work with Bellin & Gundersen.

  • Implementing Cisco ISE.

  • Exploring WebEx as a calling solution instead of on-premises systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Certifications: Cisco Certified Network/Security certifications, Fortinet certifications, or equivalent.

  • Experience: 7-10 years managing network equipment, with extensive experience in complex network systems.

Job Specifics:

  • Hours: Full-time | FTE Status: 1.0 FTE

  • Work Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm | Days | Call rotation

Essential Job Duties:

  • Network and Security Implementation and Support: Manage a 24/7/365 network environment, ensuring uptime and reliability for multi-tiered healthcare applications.

  • Supports Key Networks: Manage and maintain internet connectivity, WAN, LAN, and WLAN, crucial for healthcare services.

  • Cisco Networking Knowledge: Proficiency in Cisco networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and data center routing/switching (Cisco ACI).

  • Fortinet Firewall Management: Manage Fortinet firewall policies to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access.

  • VPN & Network Security: Experience with VPN technologies and tools like Cisco Meraki, RADIUS/TACACS+, and Cisco ISE/DNAC.

  • Automated Monitoring: Proficiency with monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA for proactive issue identification.

  • Documentation and Process Improvement: Maintain up-to-date documentation and focus on continuous improvement.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work with leadership to architect future infrastructure needs and manage vendor relationships. Mentor junior staff.

  • Troubleshooting: Use tools like Wireshark to diagnose and resolve network issues.

  • Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with emerging network technologies to leverage effective and secure solutions.

  • Change Management: Manage network changes and follow a structured change management process to minimize downtime and ensure stability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
