JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21698 JOB DETAILS: WORKING TITLE: Study Abroad Coordinator UW SYSTEM OFFICIAL TITLE: International Programs Manager POSTING DATE: March 7, 2025 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The UW-Green Bay Department of International Education is seeking a dedicated professional to develop, manage, and ensure quality delivery of programs for students studying abroad/away. In this role, you will advise students on opportunities and policies to prepare them for the global and interconnected world, supporting their cultural adjustments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Additionally, you\'ll collaborate with other staff and faculty to develop and implement innovative program initiatives and plan engaging international education programs. This position reports to the Associate Provost and may include supervisory responsibilities for staff and/or student workers. This position includes the following responsibilities: Advises students about international opportunities Supports students and external partners through international experiences and cultural adjustment following policies, procedures, laws, and health and safety guidelines Assists in the development and implementation of new international program initiatives Works with unit, campus, and external partners on program development and improvement Identifies, plans, and delivers international education programming, including supporting faculty-led travel courses Other duties as assigned in support of the institution\'s International Education program SPECIAL NOTES: The work hours for this position will be 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and/or weekend work is expected and will be assigned based on operational needs. This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule, subject to approved telecommuting request. The home campus of this position is Green Bay. The successful candidate may be required to travel (including international travel) for meetings, trainings, conferences and between campuses. Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment.
