Position: 

The Camp Manager oversees glamping camp butler staff including food and beverage service, front office duties, inventory of all supplies, cleaning, and facilitating arrivals and departures all in an inspiring natural environment along the Blackfoot River!

Candidates should have a strong luxury hospitality mindset, ideally with leadership experience in Food and Beverage and/or customer service in a hotel or restaurant.

    Primary Functions and Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for all camp staff questions, requests, and concerns.

  • Escalation point for all guest issues in camp.

  • Leads daily stand-up meeting reviewing arrivals, allergies, special occasions, and notes.

  • Facilitates 1-on-1 meeting with various staff members.

  • Assigns staff strategically to greet arrivals and assists as needed.

  • Focus on being present in camp pavilion for arrivals and through dinner service to engage with guests and assist staff.

  • Responsible for camp labor by staffing appropriately for business levels and cutting early when we are able.

  • Trains staff and upholds service standards in camp.

  • Provides immediate and constructive feedback to camp staff, with focus on clear communication and accountability.

  • Point of contact for staff coaching and steps of discipline.

  • “Hands-on” leadership style, spending majority of time in camp leading by example.

  • Greets guests and provides a welcome orientation acquainting them with their camp, hours of operation, and all amenities.

  • Provides directions and information about points of interest around the Resort.

  • Oversees meal service including setup, serving tables, bartending, bussing tables, cleanup, inventory, re-stocking, and dishwashing.

  • Works closely with butlers and camp chef to coordinate meal timing, guest count, special preparation, allergies, and special occasions.

  • Assists with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and offboarding staff.

  • Monitors daily arrivals and ensures accommodations are prepared prior to check in.

  • Oversees our s’moreology experience for guests.

  • Inspects butlers' daily checklist including but not limited to cleaning, stocking, inventory, inspecting tents, and prepping firewood.

  • Operates a company vehicle to transport staff, guests, and supplies around the resort.

  • Completes other tasks as assigned by Glamping Management.

    Supportive Functions and Responsibilities

  • Remains flexible with open availability to cover business needs of the Resort.

  • Assists with various housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation tasks.

  • Takes personal ownership of all guest feedback and requests.

  • Anticipates all guest needs and resolves any potential issues.

  • Maintains thorough knowledge of accommodations, special events, activities, package plans, and Resort facilities.

  • Expert knowledge of Maestro PMS, the Paws Up app, Microsoft Teams and all other Resort programs systems.

  • Completes other tasks as needed around the Resort.

    Looking for team members with:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work

  • Basic kitchen safety and cleaning knowledge

  • Ability to operate dishwashing machine

  • Knowledge of Luxury hospitality and service

  • Valid Alcohol Serve Safe License

  • Valid State Driver’s License with two years of driving experience
