ManpowerGroup Mechanical Engineer in Greensboro, North Carolina
Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Services department supporting innovative thermal management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Pay Range: $50-$57/hr.
What's the Job?
Full design ownership of coolant transfer systems from cradle to grave.
Lead continuous improvement activities focusing on quality, mass, and cost initiatives.
Coordinate activities among design groups to develop balanced coolant distribution routing.
Deliver project activities and milestones on time and according to budget.
Create and document best practices for design and mass reduction initiatives.
What's Needed?
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience as a Mechanical designer.
Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics principles.
Minimum 3 years experience in thermal systems engineering, preferably in the EV automotive industry.
Advanced CAD skills, particularly in PTC CREO, with experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
