We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to oversee daily work permits, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety on-site. This role involves working closely with TFS area owners, engineers, and subcontractors to manage various construction activities and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities
Issue Daily Work Permits and assess daily tasks and hazards.
Coordinate with TFS area owners and engineers.
Collaborate with subcontractors to manage activities such as energized equipment, LOTOTO, working at heights, excavation, hot work, line breaks, fire protection, lifting, and hoisting.
Assist and review EH&S requirements, including JSA’s and equipment pre-shift inspections.
Ensure contractors follow TFS safety procedures.
Coordinate and draft site notices for project impacts.
Participate in incident investigations and manage subcontractors in construction areas.
Enforce workplace housekeeping standards.
Support Project Managers with project coordination.
Coordinate contractor site access, equipment, and material deliveries.
Review project plans and specifications to address non-compliant installations.
Witness and ensure system tests are documented.
Attend and participate in project meetings.
Maintain cGMP and TFS training.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction, construction management, and project management.
Expertise in project coordination and subcontractor management.
Knowledge of change orders and work permits.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in project coordination.
Strong subcontractor management skills.
Ability to manage change orders and issue work permits.
Background in pharmaceutical construction.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Greenville, NC, supporting large Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects valued at $1.5 billion. The Construction Coordinator will work on various projects, supporting Project Engineers and Project Managers. The work environment involves significant collaboration with project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
