Description

We are searching for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in the metal fabrication industry, located in GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing our inventory data, maintaining precise records, and performing necessary accounting functions. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage inventory data to ensure efficient operations

• Regularly perform detail-oriented data entry tasks

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory management and basic formula calculations

• Perform various accounting functions as required to support the financial health of the organization

• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for inventory management

• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy of inventory records

• Prepare charts and graphs to visually represent inventory status and trends

• Perform clerical duties including answering inbound calls and maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Utilize the About Time software for efficient time management and task scheduling

Requirements

• Experience in answering inbound calls and performing clerical duties

• Demonstrated ability in auditing

• Knowledge in creating charts and graphs

• Familiarity with the metal fabrication industry

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Experience in a similar role in the metal fabrication industry would be advantageou
