Description

Robert Half is hiring! We are seeking an EDI Analyst/Manager to join our team located in Greenville, South Carolina. As an EDI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the exchange of electronic data between our organization and external trading partners. Your role will involve defining and maintaining EDI maps, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain EDI maps, translation rules, and processes to facilitate electronic data exchange.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and analyze business requirements while ensuring compliance with EDI protocols and standards.

• Work closely with SAP functional team, SAP developers, and business process owners to develop, deliver, and test end-to-end EDI functionality.

• Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions and identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Create and maintain documentation related to EDI processes and procedures, including mapping specifications, data interchange agreements, and trading partner profiles.

• Regularly confirm that EDI transactions process into the ERP system, ensuring no pending EDI errors on ERP.

• Maintain integrated EDI systems and processes with internal systems to ensure seamless data flow and consistency.

• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with EDI guidelines and standards, including data accuracy, data security, and data confidentiality.

• Assist in managing EDI projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements to ensure successful completion.

• Analyze typical EDI issues and review options to reduce errors and ensure the proper management of any customer/partner map changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an EDI Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry

• Advanced knowledge of EDI transaction processes

• Proficiency in using EDI - Electronic Data Interchange systems

• Solid understanding of SAP software

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
