Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and various systems including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and follow blueprints and service manuals to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility-related machinery and equipment.
Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
Prepare maintenance reports, document actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.
Work safely and efficiently using personal protective and safety equipment as required, following proper training techniques.
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement initiatives, promoting and sustaining CI, 5S, and STW activities.
Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, spacious manufacturing environment. The facility has a noticeable hot plastic smell and can be loud. The schedule follows a 2x2x3 pattern with shifts from 5 AM to 5 PM and 5 PM to 5 AM. Personal protective equipment and safety devices are required for various processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00
