Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to deploy process technology, minimize process variation, and optimize the manufacturing of our products. This role requires someone who is adept at improving machine efficiency through automation, performing mold start-ups, maintaining process guidelines, and troubleshooting various equipment and processes.
Responsibilities
Deploy process technology to minimize process variation and optimize the manufacturing of our products.
Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization.
Perform mold start-ups using plastic fundamentals (applicable locations only).
Maintain process guidelines through cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc.
Install, troubleshoot, and remove EOAT.
Troubleshoot material mixers.
Assist in color/material changes.
Pull and understand FPI/SA paperwork and process variances.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment, and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation.
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S, and STW activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude.
2-5 years of plastic injection molding experience.
Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Forklift Certification
Troubleshooting skills.
Experience with plastic production.
Mechanical repair skills.
Experience with mold and injection molding.

Work Environment
Large, spacious manufacturing environment with a hot plastic smell and loud noise levels. The position operates on a 2x2x3 schedule with 12-hour shifts from 5 am to 5 pm or 5 pm to 5 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, Texas.
