JOB REQUIREMENTS: The fluid shipping & receiving operator is responsible for the efficient operation of equipment within the load-out and fluid receiving areas at Grassland Dairy Products Inc. and Greenwood Milk Products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices. Verify quality control items such as product composition, temperature, and physical/chemical properties. Perform daily housekeeping and sanitation of department and equipment. Maintain proper documentation practices throughout all recordkeeping. Continually learn and understand incoming and outgoing products. Operation of company tandem axle, quad axle, and semi-tanker trucks. Communicate professionally with third party haulers and drivers. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Basic understanding of product flows and troubleshooting ability. Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance. Comfortable working from heights and truck tops. Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of required vehicles. Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for Preventative Controls. Ability to understand, read, speak, and write English.
