We are seeking a dedicated Electronic Evaluation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Customer Distribution Center (CDC) and After-Sales Assistance (ASA) by efficiently managing the return of goods to stock, evaluating returned products, and performing minor repairs. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CDC and customer service teams to streamline the return of products to stock.
Thoroughly investigate and validate customer complaints to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
Categorize and sort returned products for appropriate final disposition.
Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of opened products to assess damage and overall condition.
Maintain consistent communication with the customer service desk to ensure timely order completion.
Assist various departments with re-boxing activities as needed.
Perform minor repairs on returned products to restore them to sellable condition.
Qualifications
Education
- Minimum: High School Diploma. Mechatronics certificate is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum: 1 year of experience working with electronic products and their technical aspects in a production or repair environment. Experience with consumer electronics or similar products is preferred.
Special Skills
Proficiency in SAP systems and label technology is essential.
Certification in forklift and/or reach operation is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proven problem-solving abilities and proficiency in PC applications.
Familiarity with quality assurance tools and methodologies.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate internal processes, changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Additional Information
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift and/or move products and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
This role may require standing for extended periods and working in a warehouse environment.
Compensation
Salary range: $39,400 ($18.94/hr) to $55,800 ($26.83). Placement within range is dependent on education and experience.
