Position Summary Information

Job Summary

Under supervision of the Assistant Director of Campus Safety, the Campus Safety Officer will perform tasks in support of the college’s safety and security operations. This individual maintains a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors by patrolling and monitoring safety and security conditions on college property and responding to calls for service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree ( GED ) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • One year or more of work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Clean background check

  • First Aid certification, including CPR and defibrillation training
