Job Title: Microbiology Tech I Job Location: Columbus, OH 43215 Job Duration: 12 Months Sunday-Wednesday 10pm - 8:30am Wednesday-Saturday 6pm - 4:30am Job Description: Will assist a daily team of Technicians by collecting samples, test in-process samples, and finished samples. Media making Daily water collecting and testing. Will make and record observations. Preform simple calculations. Help in support functions; stocking and distributing supplies, collecting, washing, and storing glassware. Other tasks as needed. Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Microsoft Office skills * Ability to multitask * Aseptic technique * Microbiology background * Previous lab experience Education: Associate degree with at least 2 years lab experience (experience can be college lab work). Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Food Science straight from college. Manager will consider candidates graduating soon. Additional: * 0-2 years relevant experience. * Willing to take a recent grad or soon to graduate. * Master's degree is overqualified.
