Performs various aspects of building and grounds maintenance, machinery maintenance, and record keeping. Maintains and repair the buildings and grounds to include vehicles and general production hand tools. Assists maintenance technicians in the repair of equipment when assigned. Assists in the entry of data in the facility maintenance tracking software system. Responsibilities: Performs routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on specified production and facility equipment, machinery, and tools. Runs air and power hand tools in performing assigned repairs. Keeps maintenance and tool records current; including safety checklists as assigned. Fabricate or assemble equipment as required. Ensure that hazardous waste that is handled is placed into the proper container(s). Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing waste. Performs grounds and facilities maintenance Inspect/identify material and material facilities to determine if classified as hazardous Package, label, dispose, document, and transport of Hazardous materials according to industry practice The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and/or training as requested by your direct supervisor. Requirements: One (1) year of experience working in a mechanical or electrical-related environment preferred Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards. Precision measuring, hand, and power tools experience required Eagerness to grow and develop knowledge, skills, and abilities Welding, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or facility maintenance experience Experience rebuilding and/or repairing CNC equipment preferred Establishes and maintain cooperative working relationships.
