Your role at Clorox:

Position is responsible for Category Management and Business Operation of external manufacturing services in AMEA for Bleach, Liquid fill and Philippines Auto businesses. Specific responsibilities include identifying business needs, building and implementing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier performance via SRM, ensuring performance of KPI’s via ABRs and QBRs, business continuity, leading and driving cost savings as well as supporting new product initiatives and launches.

The role is also responsible for Top to Top meeting vendors coordinating annual reviews where needed and supplier agreement at executive level.

In this role, you will:

Active management of the supply chain to drive cost advantage for Clorox 40%

  • Consolidate spend to deliver TDC efficiencies

  • Drive localization and harmonization of supply to reduce cost and improve efficiency

  • Drive and coordinate identified cost savings across spend areas

Lead or participate in projects to support the delivery of supply and innovation plans 35%

  • Work with R&D and project teams to ensure early involvement of procurement expertise on innovation projects involving specified materials and services.

  • Identify external contract manufacturing capabilities (current and new) that support the regional products and innovation plans.

  • Implement learnings and process changes to improve the success of projects

  • Complete innovation agreements where needed(Non-disclosure, Supply, Intellectual Property, Trade Mark License, Investment, Amortization, Bailment Agreements) as well as Master Supply Agreements.

Work with the internal stakeholders to drive a comprehensive category sourcing strategy for specified spend areas, develop and communicate the sourcing project timelines 25%

  • Develop/maintain global strategic relationships

  • Assess supplier capabilities, analyze the market, and develop sourcing recommendations while balancing risk, cost, and ensuring supply.

  • Support the overall sourcing approval process and execute projects using a Strategic Sourcing Process

  • Track procurement performance KPIs linked to business objectives

  • Provide support for financial analysis including budgeting and forecasting

  • Manage all strategic implementation and/or ongoing projects with external manufacturers

What we look for:

  • Minimum: Years and Type of Experience:

  • 5-10 years of sourcing or related business experience, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods and external (contract) manufacturing

  • Proven record of developing, implementing strategic sourcing iniatives and delivering robust cost saving plans

  • Proven record of leading cross functional teams and driving consensus

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Able to lead cross-functional teams through defined processes

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects/responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities as well as differing priorities with internal stakeholders

  • Fluent in English. Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills

  • Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving - Sorts through complex issues, identifies alternatives and makes recommendations. Integrates information from multiple sources, assesses and communicates it properly

  • Initiative - Identifies opportunities and drives to resolution. Sets high standards of performance for self and others. Self-starter, eager to drive improvement and change. Takes ownership

  • Collaboration / Responsiveness - Enjoys and thrives working with others. Able to respond promptly to urgencies. Values diversity of thought. Incorporates others ideas into decision making

  • Leadership - Sets or influences direction beyond own area of responsibility; drives performance improvement across company

  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels required

Education Level/Degree: (Please clarify if equivalent experience is acceptable with no degree)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field experience required
