The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing or overseeing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. 

The Maintenance Technician 

maintains all aspects of the Resort in alignment with the vision and direction of the Company, brand requirements, and local, state and national regulations. Monitors areas to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures. Works as a liaison with the Housekeeping / Public Areas Supervisor and any outside 3

rd party housekeeping or cleaning service. In some circumstances, the Maintenance Technician may also be assigned responsibility for a specific area of the Resort. Adheres to department budget. Responsible for the clean, safe fun environment of the Resort operation that he or she works in. Attends periodic meetings and training sessions. Welcomes and greets arriving and departing guests. Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations. 

Accountable for maintaining high service and quality standards according to brand standards, including Quality Assurance Inspections and Guest Satisfaction Surveys.

 

Job Duties: Daily Operations

As the Maintenance technician your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Constant execution of Margaritaville Resort - Biloxi standards and policies.
  • Ensure excellent relations with guests and other team members.
  • Understand, comply with:
    • All Company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
    • All  f eder al / state/local laws and ordinances.

Understands and is proficient in all systems and tools to perform job duties.

Able to install and maintain machines and facility equipment.

Provide emergency/unscheduled and or scheduled repairs on production equipment.

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Complete required and ongoing training for the position.

Assist management in training new Staff Members within department when applicable.

Prioritize and complete all assigned task, for maximum productively and efficiency.
