SECURITY GUARD

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the security guard position is to monitor and control access onto the facility. 

Additional Responsibilities:

Keep a log of all vehicles and deliveries entering the facility

·

Monitor and record data from ovens and freezers

·

Assist the oven managers as a safety backup

·

Monitor and record temperatures of climate controlled buildings

·

Monitor fire alarms for all buildings

·

Close and secure all doors after last work shift leaves

·

Unlock doors before the start of the work day

·

Ability to identify and report safety violations

·

Turn off specific lights throughout the Facility

·

Monitor and record data related to dock activity

·

Accept and off load evening and weekend deliveries to receiving dept

Skills/Experience:

·

5+ years' experience working as a security guard.

  Experience working at a gated facility preferred.

·

Forklift experience preferred

·

Must be able to work a rotating schedule.

  Guard shift hours include days, nights and weekends.

  Pay DOE.
