Your role and responsibilities
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys. Your primary responsibilities include: Comprehensive Feature Development and Issue Resolution: Working on the end to end feature development and solving challenges faced in the implementation. Stakeholder Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with key stakeholders, internal and external, to understand the problems, issues with the product and features and solve the issues as per SLAs defined. Continuous Learning and Technology Integration: Being eager to learn new technologies and implementing the same in feature development.
Required technical and professional expertise
Integration implementation experience including design, build and deployment of interfaces
Hands on experience in developing custom iFlows using SAP CPI, SAP Cloud Connector and/or SAP PI/PO will be advantageous with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Exposure to various integration scenarios and experience in working on major adapters including SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, SuccessFactors etc.
Clarity of security concepts - SSL and PGP encryptions etc.
Design mapping logics using Java Script and/or Groovy Script is preferable
Other:
Knowledge of current integration technologies and leading practices, particularly in SAP BTP, CPI, HCI, PI/PO will be advantageous
5+ years of experience working in client facing assignments, leading complex interface technical design and architecture design efforts, managing technical issues and risks.
3+ years in Integration Consultant roles on SAP or SuccessFactors implementation including Core-Hybrid or Talent-Hybrid deployments.
3+ years of experience working with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI) middleware technology.
Excellent understanding of XML, OData, JavaScript, JSON, Restful and SOAP APIs.
Experience in developing Groovy or Java scripts
Must be located or relocate to Bedford, Nova Scotia
Preferred technical and professional experience
Gathers and interprets integration functional and non-functional requirements and develops technical design specifications
Configuring pre-packaged cloud integration in SAP CPI using Web UI
Design and build custom integration flows using SAP CPI including SAP Cloud Connector
Build integration flows in hybrid environments including on-prem and cloud-based applications across all integration styles
Perform unit testing including document the test results; support system, integration and user acceptance testing during various phases of the project lifecycle including defect resolution
Deploy and support SAP CPI based integration
